Description

AiPrise is hiring a Software Engineer I in Bangalore to help build and scale its compliance orchestration and AI agent platform. The role involves building production features across backend APIs, data pipelines, integrations, case management, and customer-facing tools while owning features from design through deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and ship production features across backend APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and case management UI.
Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
Build scalable REST APIs and microservices that orchestrate checks across compliance vendors.
Develop case management workflows and business logic for KYB and AML compliance processes.
Create data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing compliance data at scale.
Integrate with third-party identity and compliance APIs and handle vendor response mapping.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with documentation.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Debug production issues and improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Build monitoring, alerting, and observability into features.
Collaborate with product managers, compliance experts, and customer success teams.

Requirements

0–2 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
Strong programming fundamentals in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and data modeling.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern deployment practices.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work comfortably in unfamiliar codebases.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
