Description

LIXIL INDIA PVT LTD is hiring a Data Engineer to support its data transformation and analytics environment. The role focuses on building and expanding Medallion Architecture, integrating multiple source systems into Google BigQuery, developing Python-based data pipelines and automation, maintaining data quality, creating Tableau dashboards, and collaborating with data warehouse and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

Transfer raw data into a modern Medallion Architecture consisting of Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
Integrate source systems including SAP, SQL Server, MySQL, project management software, and Google Sheets with Google BigQuery.
Develop high-performance Python scripts for data pipelines and document automation.
Resolve and prevent data-quality issues through scripts and real-time monitoring.
Create dynamic Tableau dashboards using data from Google BigQuery.
Implement RPA-based automation and develop smart queries.
Collaborate with process architects, controlling teams, data warehouse colleagues, and analysts to deliver production-ready datasets.
Document the technical system architecture according to the arc42 standard.

Requirements

Completed degree in Business Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable IT-focused qualification.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with Microsoft or cloud-based data architectures.
Practical experience with relational databases such as SAP, SQL Server, or MySQL and with NoSQL systems.
Proven experience with Google Cloud, particularly Google BigQuery and Google Sheets.
Strong practical experience creating Tableau dashboards.
Structured and analytical approach with strong focus on data integrity, security, and performance.
Nice to have: exposure to Medallion Architecture, Google Vertex, App Script, App Sheets, supervised machine learning, descriptive data analysis, RPA, and arc42.
Strong willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
