Description

Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Fleet Analytics, PhD, Early Career, 2026 for its AI and Infrastructure organization in Bengaluru. The role focuses on solving complex large-scale problems using mathematical optimization and advanced research, with opportunities across AI/ML, networking, data storage, security, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced optimization models, including mixed integer programming.
Design and develop platform capabilities.
Experiment and prototype foundational technology stacks for comparison and selection.
Implement, deploy, and roll out features using safe rollout practices.
Work with users and partner teams on feature scoping, rollout support, and training.

Requirements

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience applying mathematical techniques to solve large-scale, intractable problems.
Experience conducting advanced research in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or relevant experience.
