Description

SingleStore is hiring Software Engineers in India to work on real-time database technology. The role involves owning projects across the product lifecycle, working in small collaborative teams, building and testing production software, and contributing to areas such as database engines, query optimization, fault tolerance, LLMs, and vector indexing.

Responsibilities

Work on small, collaborative engineering teams to help drive SingleStore's products forward.
Own projects end-to-end and contribute throughout the product lifecycle.
Work on both new and existing projects that are deployed into production with each release.
Design, write, test, and maintain software.
Work on areas such as LLMs and vector indexes, database cluster fault tolerance, SQL query performance, SIMD, LLVM code generation, search, and query costing.
Collaborate across engineering and business teams and develop a strong understanding of the product and business.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, particularly operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures.
Strong programming skills in C++ or C.
Passion for building highly reliable software.
Firm understanding of algorithms and data structures.
