Description

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer I for the Amazon Rewards team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves designing and building innovative technologies in large-scale distributed computing environments and developing products, features, and services that serve millions of customers, sellers, and products.

The engineer will work with experienced cross-disciplinary teams, solve broadly defined problems, build scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems, and deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in large distributed computing environments.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems at large scale and high speed.
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and easy to manage.
Design and code appropriate solutions for broadly defined problems.
Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
