Description

Adobe is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Student Product Group in Noida.

The role focuses on building exceptional learning experiences and web solutions that help students and educators access Adobe products. The engineer will work on personalized experiences, data-driven features, web applications, services, and integrations.

The position involves both frontend and backend development using modern web technologies, cloud services, microservices, APIs, databases, and AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

Build web frontend solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Web Components, ReactJS, Bootstrap, and other web technologies.
Contribute to the analysis, design, prototyping, and implementation of new services and features.
Improve existing applications and services.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver strong end-to-end user experiences.
Develop backend endpoints and define schemas and data-flow pipelines.
Build reusable code and libraries.
Develop web portals, sites, pages, microservices, APIs, and web application integrations.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and robust frontend and backend code.
Follow software development best practices for design, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, and operations.
Troubleshoot production systems and address performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
Perform pre-deployment QA and implement unit tests.
Support production systems through engineering on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

B.Tech or M.Tech from a premier institute.
4+ years of software development experience, preferably in product companies.
Hands-on experience building and operating highly available services.
Proficiency with modern web technologies including React/Vue/Bootstrap, Redux, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
Experience with Web Components and dynamic web applications.
Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, Docker, Kafka, and MySQL.
Strong understanding of HTML, DOM, CSS, REST, AJAX, and responsive design.
Understanding of Test-Driven Development.
Experience with LLMs and AI/ML application development.
Experience with AWS services and cloud architectures.
Knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, documentation, and unit testing.
Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
Experience using AI tools and agentic development frameworks is preferred.
