Description

Emmes Group is hiring an Associate Software Engineer in Bengaluru, India. The role is part of the Information Technology team and focuses on developing, supporting, and maintaining web-based clinical trials data collection applications under the supervision of senior staff or managers.

The position provides an opportunity to work across front-end code, middle-tier business logic, backend interfaces, unit testing, debugging, and application support. Emmes Group combines people, science, and technology to support clinical research and global health initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements.
Develop, support, and maintain front-end code.
Develop and maintain middle-tier business logic.
Develop and maintain backend interfaces.
Create and execute unit tests.
Debug application issues.
Provide third-tier support.
Perform other assigned duties.
Comply with applicable policies and standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
No previous professional experience is necessary.
Good object-oriented programming skills using Java and J2EE or JavaScript.
Knowledge of two or more of the following: React, Node.js, AWS Amplify, AppSync, GraphQL, and DBMS concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Satisfactory background check required.
