Description

Oracle is hiring an Application Software Engineer 1 in Bengaluru. The role focuses on enhancing software applications, developing SQL-based reports, debugging application issues, supporting software releases, and working with stakeholders. The role also provides exposure to healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.

Responsibilities

Make enhancements to existing software applications.
Develop and design reports using SQL for data fetching, processing, and representation.
Gather requirements, understand project scope, estimate work, and plan assigned tasks.
Handle client calls and collaborate with stakeholders.
Participate in component-level technical design discussions.
Debug software issues and document root cause analysis and resolutions.
Identify and suggest process improvements.
Provide support for software releases.
Develop an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.
Follow Oracle security policies and help safeguard corporate and client assets.

Requirements

0–2+ years of experience.
Knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of PL/SQL.
Understanding of software architecture and application development.
Ability to debug and troubleshoot software issues.
Ability to understand requirements and project scope.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work according to software development and security practices.
English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking.
