Description

IBM is hiring a Software Developer Intern in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The role focuses on software development, programming, system analysis, UI development, testing, and problem-solving.

The intern will contribute to projects related to IBM's automation strategy while learning and applying software development tools, cloud technologies, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and develop software solutions.
Contribute to projects supporting IBM's automation strategy.
Apply programming and software engineering knowledge to technical problems.
Work with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet project standards.
Use software development tools, techniques, and approaches.
Analyze systems and contribute to solution design.
Prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and communicate progress.
Learn and apply technologies related to cloud, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Strong foundation in computer programming and software engineering.
In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language and familiarity with additional languages.
Strong analytical, problem-analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in UI development and programming languages.
Knowledge of system analysis, design, data structures, and algorithms.
Understanding of test-driven systems.
Knowledge of API-driven interfaces.
Experience using GitHub for source code control.
Self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
