Description

Blackbaud is hiring a Developer (Services), Staff in Hyderabad, India. The role supports Blackbaud University's customer training team by building and maintaining virtual training sandbox environments for instructor-led training across multiple products.

The position involves software development, database and lab environment maintenance, troubleshooting, cloud deployments, system integrations, API documentation, and improving environment reliability, security, and quality.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and build and maintain virtual training sandbox environments.
Use technologies including .NET Core, C#, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Azure, and REST APIs.
Develop and maintain database and lab environments, ensuring system health, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues, including customer support escalations.
Track and document environment access, procedures, and configurations.
Coordinate with Curriculum Leads, Delivery Leads, Operations, IT, and external experts to meet installation and environment requirements.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments using Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS.
Maintain integrations between Docebo Learn, Workday, and Blackbaud Engineering System.
Administer API documentation libraries using Swagger/OpenAPI (Swashbuckle).
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and resolve defects and technical debt.
Improve environment quality through standards, testing, monitoring, and proactive alerting.
Maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
1–2 years of professional software development experience.
Familiarity with SQL, Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, C#, REST APIs, and web technologies.
Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Basic understanding of relational databases and integration practices.
Experience deploying code through CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Exposure to Azure PaaS services and cloud environments is preferred.
Experience working with international engineering teams.
