Description

Honeywell Technologies is hiring a Software Engr I in Bengaluru. The role focuses on modern C++ development, object-oriented design, software engineering fundamentals, automated testing, CI/CD, and systems programming. C++-focused work includes multithreading, memory management, RTOS, embedded systems, Linux/Unix, and TCP/IP or UDP networking.

Responsibilities

Develop software using modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or newer) and object-oriented design.
Apply data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Use Git for version control.
Develop and maintain automated tests.
Work with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Bamboo.
Work with multithreading, memory management, and real-time operating systems.
Use standard libraries such as STL and Boost.
Develop software for embedded systems, industrial automation, or aerospace applications.
Work with Linux or other Unix-like operating systems.
Apply knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP network protocols.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or newer).
Strong understanding of object-oriented design.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
Familiarity with Git.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of multithreading and memory management.
Knowledge of RTOS.
Proficiency with STL and Boost.
Familiarity with Linux or Unix-like operating systems.
