Description

Wohlig Transformations is hiring a Fresher - Software Development Engineer to build high-quality, innovative, and robust software solutions. The role involves developing scalable software and data-platform solutions while working across requirements analysis, application design, programming, testing, documentation, and the software development lifecycle.

The position is suitable for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent discipline and programming knowledge in technologies such as Java, C++, or Ruby on Rails, along with SQL, relational databases, ORM technologies, and web application frameworks.

Responsibilities

Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problems, requirements, proposed solutions, and software-development approaches.
Develop software solutions based on information requirements, user needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes.
Document and demonstrate solutions using technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
Prepare and install software solutions by determining system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
Conduct systems analysis and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and software operations.
Obtain required software information from vendors and assist with evaluating, testing, and approving products.
Keep technical knowledge up to date by studying modern development tools, programming techniques, and computing technologies.
Participate in educational opportunities and follow relevant professional publications.
Protect operations by maintaining confidentiality of information.
Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues.
Complete engineering and organizational objectives as required.
Follow the software development lifecycle when developing software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
Experience designing interactive applications.
Ability to develop software using Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Knowledge of ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
Experience with test-driven development.
Proficiency in software engineering tools.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
