Qualcomm is hiring Associate Engineers through its 2027 Campus Hire program for its Software Engineering group. The role involves developing software for Qualcomm mobile chipsets and connected technology platforms, with opportunities across areas such as multimedia, wireless modem technologies, embedded software, Linux, Android, device drivers, firmware, and related software technologies.

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm mobile chipsets and technology platforms.
• Work on software technologies including multimedia, audio/video codecs and image processing.
• Contribute to wireless modem technologies such as 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Work with embedded software, device drivers, firmware and platform software.
• Develop software for Linux, Android and other operating-system environments.
• Work on communication protocols, IoT and related Qualcomm technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop, debug and deliver software solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Suitable for the 2027 campus hiring program.
• Strong programming fundamentals.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of operating systems and Unix/Linux.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Interest or exposure to embedded software development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
